There are rare times where a stripper‘s sad story can be anything but the truth. The majority of strippers are honest woman that enjoy doing there job and collecting the money that they earn. The sad stories from these ladies are usually true and explain why she is working as a stripper. There are a small number of strippers that have mastered the art of mixing seduction, sympathy, and womanly wiles that culminate in the stripper taking home half of your money. This is known as a stripper scam. You can protect yourself by using these tips to spot a stripper that scams and walk away knowing that you did not fall prey to the alpha female known as the stripper.
1. Never give info
The first lesson that one needs to learn to avoid the stripper scam is to never get pulled in. The few strippers that are scammers usually have a couple scam stories in there back pocket and your conversation topics and answers let her now if you can be pulled in to a scam and what one to use. For example, if she can find out that you have kids and seem to be a good dad or mom, she will use some form of a scam that states her children are in need of something desperately. To avoid these feelers that the stripper is using, avoid talking about all things personal. If she asks what you do for a living, be vague. If you answer a high paying position, the stripper will know that you have money and push the scam even harder. There are strippers that do have stories that are sad and explain the reasons that they are working as a stripper. A lot of strippers will appreciate an ear to spill there problems to just a much as you do.
Older divorcees are the biggest target because most are lonely and are willing to give more money for the attention that the stripper will give. That is the worst piece of information you can give a stripper you suspect of trying to scam you.
2. Pay only for services rendered
Whenever you purchase a dancer drink you are paying for her time but strippers that scam will always ask for money without wanting to give anything at all in return. Most strippers would be happy to find someone to let them sit down for a moment and just talk. If a stripper is not usually willing to even give you her time in exchange for the money, she might be a stripper that scams. Strippers that scam will usually ask for some money to fix her car, pay her rent, get diapers or food, and about anything else you can imagine. Once you give her that extra money, all her stripper friends will want the extra cash also. It is a chain reaction that you will quickly regret getting started.
If you do want to give her some extra money, give her ten spot and tell her it is a tip for the great conversation.
3. Ask detailed questions
Strippers that scam almost always have stories as do genuine strippers. Do not get me wrong, not all strippers are scammers nor are all the strippers that ask for extra money scamming. I have seen lifelong friendships forged between a stripper and a customer by the customer putting out a helping hand financially. However, it is a very rare occurrence. If you are thinking about helping out a stripper, please do some homework first. Ask her very detailed questions like specific names, places, dates, times, etc. but do this without seeming like you are probing. If you have a hard time remembering, go to the bathroom and jot the answers down. The next homework step can be done in 2 different ways:
-You can send in a buddy a couple days later and see if he can get her into the same conversation and ask those same questions. If the answers match, you might be looking at a true person in need. If not, it is most likely a scam.
-You can come in a few days later and try to get the same information that you asked previously by saying that you forgot or something and see if she gives the same information.
Lastly, take the time to talk to a few customers and casually mention the stripper's names and see if he is being asked for the same assistance.
4. Watch out for teams
An automatic red flag should go up if one stripper starts telling you about a problem that her friend that is a stripper is going through. This stripper friend usually works in the same club and she will point her out to you. You will then get the basic sob story of what her friend is going through and usually right after the first stripper feels she has you, the stripper friend comes over to seal the deal and get some extra money. Most strippers will usually work in teams with each other and then split the take. That stripper friend will also be telling another sob story about the stripper that you are talking to so that they can run 2 scams at once.
However, if you know the stripper and know that they are friends, she could just be trying to release some stress by talking about it with you. It is very possible she could just be concerned for her friend.
5. Do not meet her family
A few strippers that scam will tempt you into meeting her family and her children to show you that they are being truthful about their need. However, doing this is another scam hook that they want to sink into you. Most of the time the children are too young to understand what is happening and the parents of the stripper or spouse is in on the scam as well. Once you meet the child or elderly parent or whoever is the needy one, you will be more inclined to give money because they have gained your sympathy.
Stripper that run scams are a rare occurrence and the strippers that do them are a huge minority in the stripping community. The majority of strippers are hardworking ladies that have a family and are just trying to keep the lights on like the rest of us working folks. However, those few strippers that do scam are bad seeds that put strippers in a bad light.
